Versatile temporary animal marking solution.

Quick Straps offer a fast and efficient animal identification system for on the farm.  Shoof Quick Straps are designed for easy application and one-handed removal, featuring a single-button release that makes marking animals straightforward and efficient.

Individual Identification

Quick Straps allow farmers to easily and quickly identify individual cows in a herd and to communicate efficiently with staff. This is particularly important in dairy farming where monitoring health, production, and reproductive status for each cow is crucial.

Record Keeping

By marking cows with Quick Straps, farmers can link the tag number to detailed records about the cow’s health, milking performance, feeding habits, and any treatments or interventions, helping in herd management. Our Quick Straps feature a large, textured surface suitable for writing, accommodating larger fetlock sizes for various animal types.

Breeding and Health Tracking

Our Quick Straps come in 6 distinct colours so they can be used to indicate specific breeding cycles, health conditions, or treatments, allowing the farmer to manage reproduction and medical care more effectively.

Easier Sorting

In large herds, Quick Straps help farm workers sort cows for various activities, such as milking, treatment, or moving between pastures.

Disease Control

In the case of disease outbreaks, Quick Straps help identify and isolate infected or at-risk cows, making herd management more efficient.

Effortless Application

Shoof Quick Straps are designed for easy application and one-handed removal, featuring a single-button release that makes marking animals straightforward and efficient.

Beyond the Barn

Shoof Quick Straps are not only for animal marking; they can be effectively used around the farm and household to mark equipment or supplies, helping prevent mix-ups—ideal for operations with multiple workers.

Farmers often choose colours to identify common issues for quick drafting and staff communication, for example:

  • Pink: Dry cow
  • Red: Antibiotic cow
  • Orange: Colostrum cow
  • Yellow: Slow milker
  • Blue: Once-a-day milk
  • Green: Move to AI

Our Quick Straps are made in New Zealand from recyclable Polypropylene 5, ensuring durability and environmental responsibility.
